Starbucks and Nestlé are pushing one of the chain's fastest-growing drink lines beyond the coffeehouse counter. According to a report published on Monday by Tea & Coffee Trade Journal, Starbucks Refreshers Concentrates — fruity, lightly caffeinated concentrates built on green coffee extract — launched in the United States in 2026 and are mixed at home with water, milk or lemonade over ice.

The range comes in three flavours: Strawberry Açaí and Mango Dragonfruit, both familiar from Starbucks stores, plus Lime Watermelon, a retail-only exclusive. Demand caught even the partners off guard: Amazon stock was gone after a single day, and the product cleared the shelves of more than 1,000 Target stores within three days.

The context explains the enthusiasm. Refreshers is a platform worth roughly $2 billion and the second best-selling beverage category in Starbucks cafés, behind espresso drinks. The launch sits within the Global Coffee Alliance, the $7.1 billion partnership signed in 2018 under which Nestlé distributes Starbucks products in close to 80 markets. Nestlé executives framed the line's success as a clear opportunity beyond traditional coffee.
