Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs, founded in Karlstad in 1906, has appointed Anneli Ellsäter as its new CEO — the first woman to lead the company in its 120-year history. Ellsäter will take over on October 1, 2026, succeeding Anders Fredriksson, who is moving on to Humble Group.
Ellsäter joins from Flora Food Group, where she served as global vice president, after earlier roles at TOMRA and Telia and 14 years at Procter & Gamble. Board chair Kathrine Löfberg said Ellsäter brings "the international experience, commercial expertise and ability to lead change" needed for the company's next stage of growth.
Löfbergs is one of the largest coffee roasters in the Nordics, producing nearly 11 million cups a day under the Löfbergs and Peter Larsen Kaffe brands and exporting to 20 markets, mainly across Northern Europe.
