The UK's Great Taste competition, run by the Guild of Fine Food and informally dubbed the "Oscars of food and drink," announced this year's results on July 28, 2026. A record of more than 15,000 products, entered by nearly 3,900 companies from 116 countries, were blind-tasted by hundreds of food experts. Of those, 3,354 products received an award, and 141 earned the top 3-star rating, reserved for products judged "exquisite and extraordinary."

Among this year's 3-star winners were several artisan teas, including one from Scottish producer Faerie Tea Company, standing alongside tea and coffee brands from around the world — a sign that quality tea continues to compete on equal footing with fine wine, cheese, and premium chocolate.

All 3-star products now move into a further judging round for Golden Fork nominations, with winners — including the 2026 Supreme Champion — to be announced at a dedicated ceremony on September 15 at Battersea Arts Centre in London.
