Italy’s De’Longhi Group completed a deal on October 16 to buy an additional 26.46% of its professional coffee division, home to espresso machine makers La Marzocco and Eversys, for €662.5 million. The seller was DLI, an investment company sitting within the same ownership structure, so the transaction went through extra scrutiny under related-party rules.

The purchase lifts De’Longhi’s effective ownership from about 61% to 88%, with longtime minority shareholders holding the rest. The two brands were brought under one roof in 2024 but continue to operate separately.

Growth explains the move: in the 12 months to June 30, 2026, the division’s revenue rose 38% to €569 million, and De’Longhi now values its equity at around €2.5 billion, close to double the 2023 figure.
